It is cropped and tone-managed by tools/crop.mjs and tools/make-ground.mjs and served as /img/ground.jpg; the original is not served. Nothing is added to it and nothing is taken out.

Everything that was looked at

8 candidates, with the licence and the author recorded at the moment each one was downloaded rather than remembered afterwards (tools/photos.mjs → data/photo-candidates.json). The build refuses to pass if a photograph that needs attribution is not credited here, or if something is credited here and not used.

• Chain reads go through this site's own edge function first and then to rpc.mainnet.chain.robinhood.com, which is Robinhood's public node.
• Uniswap's Permit2, Universal Router and v3 quoter, and Arachnid's CREATE2 factory, were on this chain before this site existed and are not ours.
• The colours are solved in OKLCh by tools/palette.mjs, which writes css/tokens.css and refuses to write it unless every pair it claims holds: 85 of 85 at the last run.
